Be a natural beauty like Erika Haynatz, our new Style Ambassador, with this hot tip for effortlessly beautiful beach hair:
“Hot weather heralds the need for low maintenance beauty. One of the easiest ways to take hair from the beach to the bar is to plait the hair while still damp and allow to dry. Take the plait out and spritz a sea salt spray through to set the hair into a sexy, natural, soft wave”.

Step #1: Start by washing and conditioning your hair with a shampoo and conditioner to suit your hair type.
TIP: Visit your nearest Hairhouse Warehouse store for a free hair consultation from our qualified staff to find out which shampoo and conditioner is best for you.
Step #2: Apply a straightening balm to the ends of damp hair and then blow dry.
Step #3: Use a large round brush to smooth out hair whilst adding volume and bounce.
Step #4: For a more defined curl, finish by dividing your hair in sections and curl outward from your face using a curling iron.
TIP: Take large sections for a softer look, or smaller sections for a tighter curl.
Step #5: Apply a gloss serum and sweep hair across to one shoulder to finish off this elegant look.
TIP: Hair can be secured at the back using a glamorous pin.

Step #1: If your hair is naturally frizzy, damaged, or flyaway start with a smoothing shampoo & conditioner such as Joico K-Pak Reconstructant.
Step #2: Apply a leave in moisturiser to damp hair and then blow dry ensuring the hairdryer points down the hair shaft at all times to prevent any flyaways or frizzies.
Step #3: When 80% dry use a paddle brush or large round brush to gently stretch hair out as complete drying.
Step #4: Once dry, run over hair with a straightening iron for a celebrity smooth finish.
TIP: For a subtle flick, angle the straightening iron at the ends (angle away from your face for a glamorous ‘flicky’ look, or towards your face for a more classic ‘tucked under’ style).
Step #5: To lock in your look, sprits with a light weight styling product such as the Paul Mitchell Seal & Shine spray.

Step #1: Start with a volumising shampoo & conditioner if your hair is thin such as Redken Bodyful to avoid weighing hair down. If you have thicker or frizzy hair, try Redken All Soft shampoo & conditioner to smooth out your mane, or Alfa Parf Semi Di Lino Diamante shampoo & conditioner with its diamond particles for irresistible shine!
Step #2: Apply a volumising product such as PPS Root Lift to damp hair & blast 80% dry with your head upside down to help create body from the roots.
Step #3: Starting from the nape of your neck and working your way up, section hair and blow dry small sections applying tension from the roots using a medium sized ceramic round brush to ensure a smooth result.
Step #4: As you finish each section roll hair under from the ends to roots using Velcro rollers and secure with sectioning clips if necessary. Allow hair to cool before remove rollers.
Step #5: To define texture and accent curls, take small sections of your hair and slowly twist the Cortec Straightening Iron down from top to bottom.
Step #6: Apply serum on the ends if hair is frizzy and sprits with hairspray to hold in the look.
