Exfoliate skin a day before applying self tan. Moisturise dry areas, focussing on elbows, knees and ankles. Using an applicator mitt, apply mousse to skin starting at your ankles and working your way up, using long sweeping motions. Turn mitt back the front and apply to your back. Apply lightly on hands and feet. Let dry for a few minutes before making contact with clothes. Leave on for 1,2 or 3 hours depending on tan colour you are wanting to achieve, before showering to reveal tan. To maintain, moisturise daily.
